Position: Service Desk Lead Technician
Location: Lockport, NY

Job Responsibilities:
- Scheduling other technicians to ensure appropriate coverage of the Support Desk
- Assign work to all technicians, monitor calls and ticket handling
- Provide technical and business leadership, guidance and support
- Utilize support tools, including remote control and software distribution tools to effectively support customers
- Ensure the highest level of customer service, make informed decisions and manage the department proficiently in order to achieve maximum results
- Manage the development of customer service policies, procedures and guidelines and the measurement tools to monitor quality
- Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide overall guidance, collaboration and hands-on resolution for daily support tasks and manage support escalations as needed
- Provide solutions to day-to-day problems arising from customer questions or concerns
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring of the most qualified applicants to meet the needs of the front end
Qualifications:
- Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience
- Experience working in a complex technical environment
- Available to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated and willing to take initiative to proactively solve problems
